Naveen Kumar Lakshmana is a seasoned healthcare systems developer and interoperability expert with over a decade of experience in creating innovative medical devices and software solutions. He has a passion for creating advanced technologies that improve lives and specializes in the design and development of FDA Class II & III mission-critical medical systems for Radiology and Oncology. Naveen is an SME for healthcare systems and software and has deep knowledge of medical devices development for Computed Tomography & Advanced Molecular Imaging. He has strong experience of product and application development utilizing C, C#, C++, .NET, WPF, WCF, and Python. His domain expertise includes Medical & Healthcare, Industrial & Home Automation, and IoT. Currently, Naveen works as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Philips Healthcare. He is the Interoperability Lead/SME and DICOM WG7 Member. He is also an AAPM Associate and IHE-Radiation Oncology Technical Committee member. In the past, Naveen has worked as a Senior Software Technologist I and Software Technologist II at Philips Healthcare. He played an instrumental role in the development of Philips’ Advanced Medical Technologies & Platforms, including iPatient, IQon Spectral CT, Veyron Digital PET-CT, and BigBore Radiation Therapy. He has delivered over 12 programs for Philips CT-AMI Product Lines and worked directly with key hospitals and customers across the globe. Naveen has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from CMR Institute of Technology. He also holds a degree in PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) from St. Joseph's Pre-University College and a High School Diploma from Amara Jyothi English School and Poorna Prajna Education Center. He completed his secondary school education from Navadeep English School.
